Wow! It has been months since I’ve
posted anything on here. Sorry for the long wait, but you know, sometimes the
best things are worth the wait. Now, now I don’t want to get too ahead of
myself. I should probably show some humility, huh? Well, anyway back to the
point.
To be
completely honest, I have absolutely no idea what to talk about. I felt like it
was time to post something, so here I am. Posting something. I guess I can talk
about what’s new. I mean, so much has gone on since the New Year began. It is
crazy how much life changes and how you thought you were going to be in one spot
but end up in a completely different location. That’s what makes life great
though, the ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome. When the going gets
tough, you better “Ranger The F**k Up” and let loose a Hooah (At least that’s
what Trandon says).
So, I guess
I should probably discuss my biggest accomplishment the last month. I was
elected Senior Class President. It’s a pretty big deal, but I have no idea what
I’m doing. It is crazy how much I felt I was prepared for, but how little I
really was. It still hasn’t hit me that I was elected. Maybe it’ll hit me over
the summer like last year. Anyways, it is pretty cool and I can’t wait for
senior year to start.
Another big
accomplishment that I feel is even more important is that I feel like I have a
grasp on life and finally feel like I’m retaining control of my life once
again. Some could call me a survivor, I guess, but it’s not that big of a deal.
I’m only a human who had a good support system. Thanks guys, I owe you one.
What else
do I have to mention? Not much really, just kicking ass in school and making
some pretty mean lattes at work. I got a job as a Barista at my favorite coffee
place. I love working there. It is one of the coolest places to work and the
owners are sick people. It feels like a family working there.
I usually throw
in a quote at some point in my blog that should inspire you and leave you
learning a lesson of some sort. Well, if I could say anything, never give up
hope and continue pursuing your dreams. Everything is possible when you want it
to be. A ‘No’ should never be an acceptable answer. “All our dreams can come
true, if we have the courage to pursue them” –Walt Disney.
